This page covers this website, our email list, and text messages from Genevieve Duchesneau for State Representative (the campaign, “we”).

What we collect

When you sign up for updates, fill out a form, or reply to one of our texts, we keep what you give us. Usually that’s your name, email, phone number, and town.

Like most campaigns, we also reach voters using contact information from the voter database that Democratic campaigns use. That can include a phone number.

How we use it

To send campaign updates, event invites, volunteer asks, and reminders to vote and return your ballot. We never sell your information.

We don’t sell, rent, or trade your information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the campaign (email, texting, donations, and website hosting), only so they can do that work for us, or when the law requires it, such as campaign finance reporting.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Everything described in this section excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent.

Text message terms

These terms apply to text messages from the campaign.

Who’s texting you: Genevieve Duchesneau for State Representative, the campaign for Vermont House in Rutland-8 (Pittsford and Proctor).
What we send: campaign updates, event invites, volunteer asks, and reminders to vote and return your ballot.
How often: Message frequency varies. You’ll hear from us more in the weeks right before the November 3, 2026 general election.
Cost: Message and data rates may apply.
To opt out: Reply STOP to any message and we’ll stop texting you. You may get one last message confirming you’re unsubscribed. You can also email us and ask to be taken off the list.

Agreeing to get texts is never a condition of donating, volunteering, or anything else.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
